Wrath of the Lich King – Will Your Guild Survive?

There is a great disturbance in the Force - you can feel it in the air.

Soon millions of booted feet will be trampling the pristine wilderness of Northrend.

I have to admit, I’m excited.  I’ve been playing World of Warcraft for years now and it just keeps getting better and better.  That said, I am a little worried about the new release.  I’m one of those guys who ran to level 70 without really doing the whole “Guild” thing.  I was always too busy to bother and my drive to max out my level always overpowered my desire to run instances.  Oh I did a few with pick-up groups, but that’s it.

Now I’m in a fantastic guild.   We run instances and battlegrounds all the time now and it’s fantastic.   It reminds me of why I play games in the first place.

And I’m worried that’s going to blow up in just over a week.

You see, I remember when Burning Crusade was released.  Some rushed into Outland with a vengeance while others took a more leisurely approach.  I had friends whose guilds broke up over it because half their players were too busy to participate any more.  Not to mention that now all that cool gear you got from instances wasn’t even as good as the green Outland gear.

I know a few guys who were in the beta and I’m seriously picking their brains about what to expect  I figure the more I know, the better I can help my guild mates.  There's bound to be lots of cool raids to run in Northrend.

Tell the Lich King I'm coming, and I'm bringing my friends with me.
